That with one of the most exciting players in MLB and a stronger pitching staff I would
I have heard this song and dance so many times

With the Padres, is be curious as to when....
Hell even when they went on the spending spree a few years ago they were not considered to have a great young player or solid pitching staff

Better than nothing. It’s ridiculous MLB doesn’t air every spring game.

If the people who own the TV rights don't want to air the game, there's nothing the league can do

It’s ridiculous some franchises air all of their spring games and some don’t. frick, put them on MLB at bat at least. Marlins had a go pro set up at least. Broke dick team in Texas couldn’t swing it today I guess.

I was streaming some spring games a couple days last week and the only games available were from teams that either owned their own networks or it was networks that werent a "Fox Sports" brand. No Sinclair owned station was airing games if I remember correctly.

Braves let most of their pen go on the offseason...
This is untrue. The only guy they let go of any consequence was Melancon but he's 36 and probably saw the best of what you were gonna get from him. I was ok w/letting him walk.
The pen still has Martin, Minter, Matzek, and Will Smith will be the closer. Shane Greene is still unsigned so if he comes back the pen will pretty much be the same.

Mets had a top 3 offense

Your insecurity here shows that you know the Mets are a legit contender.
Please. The Braves have OWNED the Muts for the better part of a generation due in large part to both Chipper and Freddie making them their personal bitches. Chipper named his oldest son Shea for God's sake!
If anything it's Mets apologists that are insecure because they have stretch yo justify any reason why this year is the "year."

So are you going to argue they didn't lose Melancon who pitched in 23 games
Greene who put he'd is 28 games
Tomlin who pitched in 17 games
O'Day who put he'd in 19 games
Chacin who pitched in 2 games
Milone who pitched in 3 games
I mean even though many of those pitched in the same games that is a lot to replace
Oh and stats still probe the Mets finished with a top 3 offense even if you don't want to believe it

like thinking the braves will win the division over the mets is fair. but its weird to act like the mets dont have a decent chance to be a contender themselves

When’s the last time Atlanta won a pennant?

pretty much every single projection believes the mets are going to win the division
The projections haven't liked the Braves for the last 3 years. Yet......
Games are played on the field, not by some nerd who is a virgin that lives in his mom's basement and has never watched a baseball game in his life.

I picked them to win a WC, just not the division.
