It's not even Mets hatred. You are trying to rationalize the Mets offense being better than the Braves last year by using advanced metrics when the most important stat was clearly in their favor. They smashed last year, and should again this year being that everybody is back.
If you have to use other metrics to try to prove your argument then you never had a legit argument to begin with.
The Braves offense was the best in baseball last year, sans the Dodgers, and the numbers(that matter) bear that out. Period. End of discussion.

Not thrilled about Mets defense.. I expect the lineup to be:
CF: Nimmo
SS: Lindor
2B: McNeil
1B: Alonso
RF: Conforto
3B: Davis
LF: Smith
C: McCann
Rotation to start season:
1. deGrom
2. Carrasco
3. Stroman
4. Walker
5. Peterson
Look for each starter (after deGrom) to get pushed down a spot when Syndergaard is back.
I suspect in late innings you’ll see Pillar to CF, Nimmo to LF, Smith to first, Alonso out the game, and Guillorme to third in place of Davis

CF is really the biggest issue as Smith needs to be a DH and not in the OF. However, the Braves now have the same issue with Ozuna as he should be a DH and no where nsr the OF

Agreed. Nimmo is a good corner guy but in CF is below average. Nervous about Davis at third too
