Penn State should on it's own kill the football program if they are truly contrite and the NCAA should allow their scholarship players to transfer and give them additional eligibility at other schools.
The Catholic Church should come clean on what they know about pedophile priest and should take the ring off of Cardinal Law's finger and revoke his visa requiring him to return to the US and answer MA. officials questions.

I was just pointing out the coincidence that the effects might last as long as the cover up, not suggesting that they have to.

Never said the NCAA shouldn't be involved. I said that the DP for the football program is not warranted.

It's not really a football issue as much as it is an institutional issue. The school needs to be punished more so then the football program.

Well you said it was about the $ that PSU made by keeping their reputation in tact. I said use that money to build awareness on the subject and to somewhat "payback" the victims.
Obviously a lot of the ins and outs of the university need to be reviewed. Athletic, academic, bot, and even the janitors. (and by the way, just bc they thought they were going to lose their jobs they get a pass?)
If you want the football the to suffer take away all of joepas wins, schollies, bowl bans, no tv. This list can go on and on.
