What do you say to Saint fans who don't like basketball at all? I know quite a few of those.
Probably nothing because they probably won't shove GOAT and WITMESS down my throat if they don't like bball in the first place. I don't hate all Heat fans and I know not all Heat fans are from FL. Some probably have no ties to Miami at all.
The only fans I do the Marlin and Dolphin thing to are the obnoxious ones who vanish when things go south.

you should become an overnight "fan" of whatever team he is on I mean that's fine and all if you're just a casual fan of the game, but don't try and act like you're some legit fan of the game or team he is on because you're not. you're a fan of a player and you enjoy front running.
Been a Heat fan for about 9 years now.

what if you just cheer for good basketball?
not everything has to be black and white.
watching george and lebron go back-and-forth was amazing
no doubt about it, but that makes you a casual fan and that is fine.
the problem is when idiots want to rep a team like the Heat and act as if they are some big time, legit fan knowing damn well most of them couldn't name more than 3-5 players on the team.

so according to your logic just because he is great, you should become an overnight "fan" of whatever team he is on? No legit fan of the game gives a shite about this dumb shite.

The question becomes, why do you give a shite? It's not even your fan base.
because its good for the game of basketball for teams like the Pacers to beat the media darling teams like the Heat.
the NBA desperately wants the Heat to be in the Finals simply for financial reasons and they are going to do everything possible to help them get there.

The fact that these people clearly bother you to the point of getting online and bitching about it on a sports forum says a whole lot about who you are. How old are you?

many of those same people only come back to the arena when an ESPN team is in town and they want to front run while wearing their Kobe or LeBron T-Shirt that they bought from Champs a few hours before game time.
That shite used to piss me off so bad when ever our highest attended games would be against the Lakers and whole sections would be full of douches with 24 jersey shirts on. I've sort of gotten over it with age but their was a time I would have gladly punched one of them in the face.

the fact that you have to create a custom signature photo for yourself showing us how macho and cool you are with a skull and a beer displayed in the photo says a whole lot about who you are. we get it. you're a bad arse.

you not gonna hear the end of this but you are right. the average heat fan cant tell you shite about the team before the league assisted title in 06 and not much more before LBJ. espn did give them what "knowledge" they do have. "espn stats". i cant stand all them fresh gelled arse hairstyles in the AAA

Currently live in my hometown of BR. I don't see the big deal with this. I was not a big fan of basketball growing up until the Hornets came to town. Still root for them always. My first NBA game was in the NOLA Arena against the Celtics in 2008. Simply decided to adopt another team while I was in high school. I would love to see a Pels/Heat finals, and would be happy with whoever wins.

well the thing is that if you're a legit fan of the game and can see the point in my post, then just like the poster Bob Barker and others you'll laugh it off and agree. the ones who reply instantly with angry and bitter remarks are the ones that make it obvious that they enjoy front running and it struck a nerve.
