ETA: I acknowledge that Lebron sometimes seems disinterested, avoiding the ball, etc., Has played some pretty bad 4th quarters, but he has played some good ones as well.
But the hate he gets is just absurd.

I've said the same thing for multiple other players mentioned today in these Lebron Apology Threads and I'll say it again.
- Durant doesn't have a tattoo on his back titled, "The Chosen One". Nor does he accept and market the nickname, "King ....."
- Durant didn't give up on a team that had the best record during the regular season for several years to go play with 2 other all-stars by holding a Nationally Televised Program titled, "The Decision". In which he specifically use the wording, "I'm taking My Talents to South Beach"
- Nor did Durant hold a parade claiming to win, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7, but 8 NBA Championships.
....so yeah Durant hasn't/won't receive the same criticism Lebron has because he didn't proclaim with extreme arrogance such lofty goals and not deliver.

I agree with this.
People like Lebron won't be satisfied unless he does infact win 8 championships, and win 8 final's MVP's along the way.
The line will always move, and that's fine, but I just wish some of them would be a little more objective about it.

i get what you're saying, but it doesn't matter unless they lose. The leader of the team doesn't have to be clutch if his team wins anyway. Lebron could suck in the fourth quarter and if the heat win, i personally wouldn't hate on him for that.

pretty sure lebron got hate in game 2 i think when haslem made a few late buckets instead of lebron
