Well, you should also consider that Jordan has a higher career per, ppg, and most other individual metrics favor him as this point.
Simply comparing titles or a voter based award is fricking stupid. Lebron will end up at best with similar overall numbers compared to Jordan.
Also, we are assuming that Lebron continues to be a stud. How will aging, potential increase of injuries, and a positive hgh test affect the remainder of his career?

Here is why Jordan is slightly superior to Lebron. Let's compare their per game statistics in the regular season. There does not need to be any talk of titles, MVP's, buzzer beaters, bullshite clutch arguments, and I will even throw out playoff stats. All of these tossed aside facts and numbers (really, the only one that is truly revelant are the postseason numbers) favor Jordan, but we will start from scratch without them.
Also, I have chosen to use per game over per 36 because I like to reward players for extra minutes helping their team out. Lebron plays 39.7 mpg where as Jordan played 38.3, so per game slightly favors Lebron, instead of looking at per minute basis.
Jordan's advantages:
FGM, FG%, FT%, STL, (less) TO, PTS, PER, STL%, TO%, ORATING, DRATING, WS/48
Lebron's advantages:
3PT%, FTA, REB, AST, TS%, AST%, REB%, BLK%
You can go check out all of the numbers for yourself, but Jordan leads in more categories and has higher high-water marks. Jordan has the highest single-season PER and WS between them. Shockingly, he even has a higher field goal percentage. This, to me, is one of the more telling stats in their comparision. Despite Lebron's physical advantage and unpredecented ability to go to the hoop, Jordan still shot 49.7% from the field while Lebron has shot 49%. Of course, Lebron's FG% has increased in recent seasons, but it will decline at the tail end of his career (like Jordan's plummeted during his Washington days).
I think Lebron will go down as the second best to play the game. I am not a Jordan sympathizer. I simply I am of the sane opinion that he is marginally better. There could definitely one day be a better player than Jordan, but I do not think that guy is Lebron.

Just to be clear I wasn't actually saying LeBron is the GOAT or will be just saying it's ridiculous to say he has to have all those accolades to even compare to Jordan. I agree that Jordan is the GOAT and will be until proven otherwise. I honestly don't think they should even be compared because they are different players and play different positions. But thats just me. Thats why the Kobe vs Jordan argument is better b\c they are basically same size, same position, same type of character, and same styles of play.

Pre game:
Points: Jordan-30.1 Lebron-27.6
FG %: Jordan-49.7% Lebron-49%
3pt %: Jordan-32.7% Lebron-33.7%
FT %: Jordan-83.5% Lebron-74.7%
Rebounds: Jordan-6.2 Lebron-7.3
Assists: Jordan-5.3 Lebron-6.9
Steals: Jordan-2.3 Lebron-1.7
Blocks: Jordan-.8 Lebron-.8
Turnovers: Jordan-2.7 Lebron-3.3
Forget to add PER: Jordan-27.6 Lebron-27.9
Lebron is still in his prime and getting better every year. It's possible for him to surpass Jordan in fg%, blocks, and PER. As of right now, I think Jordan is the greatest, but let's wait until Lebron retires to make this comparison.
Oh, and links to where this information came from.

The only reason Okie is posting this is because he is still butthurt from the Heat setting the OKC Blunder on fire last season, and that it will happen again.
Wait, what?
