Varnado must feel like the lucky man alive.

He gets to live in Miami, focus basically on defense, and score countless easy buckets.

This is just unreal...

Does LA come back with another free agent?

LA may need to add to bench or grab another starter?

Do not know if this has been posted Article

We don't have the pressure of going out and scoring 30 every night or shooting a high percentage."
Whoa. Hold on there. Scoring 30 a night is too much pressure for one of the five most talented players ever?
Find me another all-time NBA great who would utter those words. Jordan would rather do an adidas commercial than say that.

I guess that's all LeBron is: A complementary player with superstar talent. We should have figured this out before: He got that giant CHOSEN 1 tattoo on his back and calls himself King James because he is desperate for reassurance.

Why is everybody hating on LeBron? He gave up $38 million to win a championship. I see nothing wrong with his decision. He was never going to win the championship in Cleveland.

LeBron, D Wade, and Bosh all gave up money to win... you don't see this too often!

That was the best tv show I watched in a while. I went into it disliking LeBron and came out of it a fan of his. The maturity he had as he talked was amazing. I always took him for a spoiled little brat, but I feel I was dead wrong. Though many criticized him for the show last night, to me he showed excitement in going to Miami (well he really didn't care what city it was as long as Wade and Bosh were there) and was apologetic to Cleveland. I had a feeling that he just didn't want anybody to dislike him.

Then after seeing the dispicable display by Cleveland's owner, I think LeBron made the best decision in the world to get out of crazyville. I understand (or atleast expected) the Cleveland fans reaction, but the owner needs to have more class than that. He acted like the baby I thought LeBron was all these years.

So here's to winning 5 straight titles in Miami and knocking off the Lakers.

Last night I officially became a LeBron James fan.

I think the Cavs owner stepped on his dick big time. Potential free agents are going to take into account his rant when considering Cleveland. He acts like it was all LeBron's fault they didn't win a title. He's totally shifting the responsability. I don't think any big free agent will wanna play for a guy who would throw a player under the bus like that. Especially LeBron.

It shouldn't be too hard for them to put some spin on it.

1) How many potential free agents out there would be considered "hometown hero" or "chosen one"...

2) The fact that they were "betrayed' may enable to put up a stronger "we are a team... and a family - we don't treat family like he did to us" type of front.

By the same token, what's to keep a free agent from thinking "Boy, if they can throw the home town boy & chosen one under the bus....."

Because it's hard to throw somebody under the bus you've just been run over by...

Lebron COMPLETELY disrespected the Cavs organization... and was in the unique position to deserve that piece of vehemence.

And think of it this way: If the Cavs can sign a decent Free Agent (or two) in the next couple seasons... and they manage to achieve a measure of success (make it to the conference final, etc...) - well that Free Agent has proven they accomplished everything that King James did.

Yeah I don't like the whole tv circus thing. That wasn't necessary and only made things worse.

I just don't like the way Dan Gilbert deflected blame from the Cavs front office for not winning a championship and totally threw it on the back of LeBron. That was juvenile and only cemented the fact that LeBron was right in leaving Cleveland if he wants to win a title.

I tell ya what... I know where you're coming from with this - but if the Cavs somehow pull out a respectable playoff run in the next season or two... Well - That would mean he was correct.

A playoff run with West, Wallace, Varajao & Moon? LOL! Cavs will be lucky to win 35 games next year. That team is shite now. A playoff run with teams like Orlando, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta? The Cavs will be back to their former shitty selves in no time. They were barely filling half that arena before LeBron was drafted.

I imagine they will put the money formerly earmarked for Lebron to good use.

Yeah since they have a glorious history of doing such a thing. And who's left? No way Carmello goes there next year. I doubt most stellar free agents touch Cleveland with a 10 foot poll now.

or maybe the organization threw him under the bus by not getting a FA worth more than doggie poop.

How did he disrespect the Cavs? By leaving for less money and joining a 3 player dream team? Did anybody actually listen to what he had to say?
