I completely disagree. I think Lebron's advantages would be neutralized in 1-on-1. Especially since he doesn't have much of a back-to-the basket game right now. I think Jordan would probably win 7/10 games or so.

Would really be hard to judge. Jordan was a better defender, so Lebron driving past him would not be as easy as it would be for Jordan to go past Lebron. I'd guess Jordan as well, but there really is no way to argue either way effectively as we are going based on team performance. I'm sure there are guys that never played in the NBA that could give them all they could handle one on one.

Jordan easy. He can handle the ball better. and is much quicker than Bron.

I wouldn't say easy. Lebron has the ball handling skills to back Jordan down to the goal where MJ wouldn't be able to deal with Lebron's size. Again this question is extremely hypothetical and impossible to argue either way.

Lebron. He's taller, stronger, faster, more athletic and Jordan's advantages (a slightly better jump shot) would be neutralized by Lebron's height and leaping ability. You Jordan fans have a much better argument if you stick to who was a better player in terms of a regular game. Lebron is pretty much the perfect one on one specimen.

I'm guessing you didn't see too much of Jordan in the 80s for you to say that? Lebron did not have a big advantage athletically on that Micheal Jordan. and Jordan was probably the most competitive person in the history of sports, in a one on one match up that would come into play.

Dominique Wilkins would give Lebron fits in 1v1 game.

We're talking prime.
Lebron doesn't have Jordan's post-up, jump shot, or ball handling... yet. So this is a bit pre-mature because we're comparing today's Lebron to Jordan's best.
We shall see.

I actually think LeBron's size would be too much one on one.

If we're talking team ball, Jordan's team would win.

Jordan is more fluid within the team game construct and plays better team defense.

Two words: Post game.

Jordan was one of the best at it, Lebron...doesn't have one.

Game over.

Yes he has, he is in it now. Had he not started playing at 17-18 in the NBA I would agree with you, but the reality of it is, you are seeing Lebron in his prime.

Well see here's the deal with 98% of the Lebron lovers on this board. They are all ready to crown him the GOAT, and do so on a daily basis. But yet when comparison time comes around, they pull shite like this and say well Lebron's young, and hasn't hit his prime yet, doesn't have the jump shot, blah blah blah.

You can't have it both ways. Make your choice. He is either not in his prime, or he's the GOAT. My opinion, he's neither. And won't be the latter.

Im sorry some of you figs like you live in the past. But wont face the fact that he is better. It makes me mad when some of you judge simply on titles...which rediculous!!

This post is retarded. Jordan is head and shoulders above Lebron. I don't ever see Lebron making it to Jordan's level as far as all around game. Lebron will get a title before it's all said and done but one on one give me a break Jordan would have owned Lebron.

I'm a huge MJ fan...but I'd have to say LBJ would win one on one. LBJ is a lot bigger and just as quick. This, however, doesn't mean LBJ is the better player. You're comparing apples to oranges. Bball is a team game, not a one on one game, so you can't determine who's the better player by a one on one game. MJ is better than LBJ and will be when it's all said and done.

Lebron has 3 inches on Jordan. Jordan was just as atheletic and as good a leaper. Jordan is a much better one on one defender than Lebron. And like someone else said, Lebron's biggest asset is his court vision and passing ability which wouldn't do him any good.

Jordan is a much better competitor and a much smarter player. He would out shoot Lebron and out smart him one on one.

Some of yall are completely oblivious to the fact that Jordan was a great athlete based on what he did in Washington. If you grew up watching him you wouldnt be so quick to pick lebron

No way of knowing that. He improved his game from last year to this year. When his skills start to slope downward is when we will know when his prime was. Just because he started when he was 18 doesn't mean he has hit his peak. There is still areas he could improve and he certainly could do so.

Jordan is probably the best ever at getting his shot off regardless of who was defending him.
