Everybody but Tadej was toast.
MVDP cracked, looked back saw the rest struggling and figured, frick it might as well get second.

Tadej
Dude is an alien, makes everything look so easy.
2/4 through first 4 days betting. Tadej was +275. The favorites have been dominating

That was a really hard last 20k. I agree with free forall that everyone was on the limit there at the finish. Pog is almost beyond belief. Enjoyed this finish. Good racing!

Jonas was right there as well in 3rd crossing the line at the same time. This is going to get good in the mountains.

Pog did approx 630-650 watts for 1:48 on that last climb. Around 10 w/kg

MVDP cracked,
Perfect tactics by Pogacar, he softened MVDP on that last climb and took the sting out of his legs and edged him out in a sprint he had no business on paper winning.
The crash with 24k to go was all the teams' fault. Everyone should have been aware of the tightening of the road before the race, and all the riders with radios should have been reminded well before and passed the info on. There should have been an open discussion about it in the peloton, especially in the second half of the group.

The streaming aspect sucks, wish it was still on Versus. That was maybe peak TdF for me watching Landis make people look silly

The international feed that existed until a few years ago was amazing and ideal. Non stop coverage, historical facts about the towns, cities, structures.. comments about the land art, interviews, the TDF ‘jingle’ in between interviews, segments, recaps etc.
Can’t believe it doesn’t exist anymore.

You can give me a 24/7 feed of the peloton with rider names pointing them out and I’ll be happy. I don’t want Bobke and Phil. Hearing Phil’s gaffs make me irrationally pissed based off his previous commentary

Most entertaining outcome today would be Jonas taking the yellow

Live look at Jonas warming up for the ITT

Stage winners have been about as close to chalk as possible so far. Not sure if that's ever happened for a Tour before.

Pretty terrible day for Jonas.
If only Remco/Quick-step didn't have that crosswind misshap the other day.
