James is such a head case that once he's past his prime he won't be that valuable to a contender IMO. He's got to be head clown on any team he's on. He will be fortunate to win 1 more.

Headcase? As evidenced by what?

wins (and championships) are team stats. they shouldn't be used to compare players

I think they should be part of the discussion but not the end all be all.

Matt Bonner has the same amount of NBA Championship rings as Lebron does.

Russell had 11.
MJ will never be as good.
MJ will never be as good as Sam Jones with ten, either.

not sure how you can say that when you dont know where he'll end up. or who he'll end up with.

if tim duncan retires, that make things much easier for him. Even so, he's getting old. Who is going to stand in his way with the right cast of characters around him?

You think he was a beast? More turnovers than assists. Played hard 2 quarters combined the last two games. Literally couldn't guard anyone on defense. Paddy Mills owned him tonight among others. 8 different Spurs scored on him in tonights game.

He played better then when he shite on himself during the Dallas finals but he was no beast this year.

Who do you think gives him the best chance to get back right away?

3 peats are tough to come by as it is much less anything more than that.

Considering he has 6-7 years left, and the situation in Miami is pretty much going to force him to move on, it just seems the window is closing on his chances is all.

Only the second time in NBA history a player has averaged over 25 points per game on better than 60% shooting and lost the Finals. He was only the 3rd player to ever hit those marks.

well turnovers are a stat that people who don't really understand NBA statistical analysis love to bring up

it was 3.8 per, which isn't bad considering his usage. turnovers are a sign of aggressiveness, so they're not a bad thing (you have to look at them in the context of all of the stats presented, which is not a negative in this case for sure)

IDK, i had thought he was a lock to go back to Miami, but after this series, i honestly don't know. He has a player option, obviously its hard to turn down 20mil, but if anyone can get that back, or more, its him. I just can't see him agreeing to go back to war with Bosh and Dwayane Wade in miami, and not have any money to add pieces.

Even with 6-7 years left, he's that good.
