All that matters for his future is that he will not run under 4.3 at the NFL combine. Unless...they change venues, rules and track conditions.

I wouldn't put it past DAT to run a very fast 40 at combine.

Thanks for sharing that link. I had never seen it before. You are right, your boy was indeed very fast. However, your two studs have left the team for the NFL or such. So who do you have on your team that are top speedsters at UF? If you ask me UF USED to be the team known for speed such as in offensive weapons. (past tense). LSU is the team known for speed on Defense, db's and even more their D-line. And USC cannot be overlooked as a team totally known for speed as they have some really killers. But Oregon is by far the one single team known currently as the fastest out there and currently, your UF squad both last year and esp this upcoming squad simply do not compare.

well your fastest player from last year simply did not compare to ours.

difference between Oregon and UF. UF won with its "fast" squads. Oregon came in 2nd place/1st loser with their "fast" squads.

You may not play football on a track, but when you time a football player running you sure do. Even the NFL combine 40 is done on a matte track type surface...

Demps, Holliday, Jacoby Ford...they were all 60 meter champions right? (Well I know Demps and Ford were.) WC speed at the 60 meters!

Look at the company they're in -

Linford Christie 6.47
Leroy Burrell 6.48
John Capel 6.49
Ato Bolden 6.49

Colin Jackson 6.49
Asafa Powell 6.50
Jeff Demps 6.51
Jacoby Ford 6.51
Trindon Holliday 6.54
CJ Spiller 6.58

They are part of the small list under 4.3 as official under modern procedures at the NFL Combine.

If DAT is the 60 meter NCAA champion, my apologies...maybe he will easily run a 4.3 and join the list of 10 people.

How do you know that Sir? For Taylor Mays, of USC, a big Safety even ran a 4.24 at the NFL combine. So you find it hard to believe a much smaller/much lighterweight in DAT could not run a 4.29? Everybody in the world knows that in theory, smaller and lighter guys have a strong edge in starting off but it is the taller guys who have longer legs who are faster down the stretch, like World Record Holder Bolt. And Taylor Mays was a big guy and he ran that time. So what on Gods Green Earth makes you think that- who the L.A. Cali Press called "The Best Talent to come out of L.A." could not run a 4.29, especially in Track Town USA(Eugene Oregon)?

We are both right. I did not know of that time. I was going by the time that the NFL Network timed him at of 4.24. And one can find my time all over the internet for him. However you are also right as well, your time was the official time...But don't pretend for a second that I just made up that time.

unofficial hand time brah. i can run a 3.89 using this technique.

you are wrong by posting the unofficial time because it is faster when i have every reason to believe that you knew it was wrong. posting the unofficial time just because it is faster makes me question every stat you have posted up to and includint those from your "mystery source"

Here is the actual NFL combine race of Taylor Mays. Watch it for yourself and see the NFL Network display that 4.24 time and listen to the NFL announcers vocally say that time too. (just in case you think I make up this shite.)

HIS ACTUAL RACE HERE(4.24): LINK

Do you not understand that unofficial times don't mean anything?

You missed his point completely. The NFL networks unofficial time is not the laser timed one. It's hand timed and the fact you went to that one makes you either plain ignorant or just using selective info you know is wrong.

I was not there to witness it. Personally, I could care less if you believe or not. It's a free country, believe what you will...
