Ladner won the Sun Belt regular season championship last season. The team has regressed a bit this year, but all in all I think fans were mostly satisfied with Ladner.
USM has had surprisingly good basketball coaches over the years. M.K. Turk, Eustachy, Sadler, James Green, Donnie Tyndall... it's not like football where they seem to hire a clown every second or third time around.
