Let's be realistic here guys, if this was oregon state or washington state they would be done for years... this is southern cal. They are not going to get hit this time around unless they pull a Bama part II and remain arrogant in the face of the allegations.

The NCAA doesn't hit premiere programs unless a media firestorm builds or the program tells the NCAA to go frick themselves

Why was Bama irrelevant for most of the 2000s again?

If Emmert put 4 years of the death penalty on the table for PSU and he doesn't give USC at least one year, if this proves true, he's a hypocrite. Isn't this the definition of a repeat violator?

USC apparently investigated McKnight, declared him inelligable, and the NCAA later cleared him, so it might not be a big deal
same thing happened in our textbook scandal, and the NCAA still put us on probation.

Looks like Oregon might be hit as repeat violators too if they get punished. Bad news for the Pac-12 today off the field. LINK

A second attachment, "2008 IRS Business Deductions," lists 12 payments totaling $3,730 to "Davon" or "DJ." Jefferson is the only person on the list of payees with those initials.

Wait, you can deduct bribes to football players from your taxes??? Sorry Susan G. Komen, I've found a new use for that money...

I was told by a guy who knew McKnight and family and was associated with Johm Curtis back then that he knew of a $25,000 payment. Lots of money flowing to McKnight back then.

"Administrators investigated McKnight and Schenter's relationships in 2009, after the running back was seen driving a $27,000 Land Rover registered to Schenter. School officials said they "fully investigated the matter" at the time and turned their findings over to the NCAA. The disciplinary body "accepted the report, and no violation was processed," according to Haden's statement."

I wouldn't get too excited just yet guys, this was dealt with during Joe's final game which is why he sat for the Emerald Bowl and then went pro.
