I'll root for the Bulldogs because I like to see all of the Louisiana teams do well. As an LSU fan its kinda pointless to hate on the other state schools because they aren't anywhere close to the Tigers league.
Academically on the other hand, the state is long overdue in contracting some of its public universities. Per capita Louisiana has the most 4 year institutions in the country yet one of the lower percentages of people with bachelors or better. Resources are spread WAY too thin.

Tech isn't one of the schools that should be contracted, however. Lets leave that discussion for when ULM plays its game.

This will be the first bowl game I watch.
If Tech were playing North Dakota School of Mines I would not. But TCU is a ranked team and it would be a major upset if Tech wins.
