And Hud can say, yeah, but their AD is such a fricktard that he turned down a bowl game and screwed those 30+ seniors out of their final game that would have been the exclamation point on their greatest season

Can he guarantee the kid 5 bowl guarantees?

REALLY?

Tech isn't going to a bowl because of someone else instead of their own AD's stupidity? That's great; keep tossing those lies out. I'm sure that'll really help Tech's reputation in the future.

heard that ull has already used this when talking to a kid here in monroe that is being recruiting by tech.

At that point, I would probably talk to the kid and his parents how the ULL coach knocked up a college cheerleader when he was coaching elsewhere. Then I'd follow that up with some footage of him throwing a 70-yard TD bomb with 4 seconds left in the game when he had a 10 point lead. Then I'd end by asking the kid's parents "Do you really trust this man to mentor your son?"

Now you're talking. That's actually good.

Are you going to show Berry's mouth breathing arse blitzing all 11 guys with no chance of victory? You want to play the full 60, lets play the full 60

Plus we'll be in a bowl this year again and we won ours last year, so there's that. I'll pick you up a t shirt or something, you seem really envious.

Just what every Tiger fan needs for Xmas! 2012 ULL Ragin Cajun New Orleans Bowl t-shirts!

Real envy I tell you

Really hate it for the players but this wanting to pick which bowl you play in is typical of La. Tech's haughty attitude. They have always been this way and I'm sure they considered themselves too good to line up against ULM. These two schools used to have a great rivalry until, you guessed it, Tech wanted to end it. Never mind they are 30 miles from one another. I've never quite figured out why people from Tech are so condescending...some of them actually think they are above or equal to LSU

so you boycotters want to go to a third rate bowl in a third rate town in a fifth rate stadium and play the warthogs? we don't owe anything to anyone involved...you want to blame someone/something, try the bcs bs and the idiotic bowl/conference tie ins that guarantees lousy teams in formerly respectable bowl games. I'd rather stay home than meet nlsc in state fair stadium in a game sponsored by a pyramid scheme.

Tech had such a brutal schedule this year. Oh why, would a BCS bowl not want them ?...

Ooops, I meant why would any bowl not want them?

So, when BVDV went to bed on Saturday night, his entire world revolved around him praying and hoping that the Liberty Bowl would take Louisiana Tech over Iowa State. And that was it, no Plan B or anything else other than some verbal statement of interest by some subset of members of the Liberty Bowl selection committee.

I feel that a few of our senior posters on here have gotten pencil-whipped by BVDV on the timeline of events…. Someone even called it a “once in a lifetime” perfect storm etc. I say bullshite. We knew beginning on Sunday, November 24 that the little plan was far from a lock. And nothing was done to come up with a Plan B. This is completely unacceptable and rests completely at the feet of BVDV.

FWIW I'm a Tech fan and I don't trust a fricking word Bruce says. He's trying his best to save face and pointing fingers at everybody but himself. In the end, Tech is out of a bowl game and has probably burned bridges with the Indy and Liberty Bowls.
