Use to wrestle for Northshore

You still have a team. I am friends with the Fountainbleau Coach and helped work the tourney in November.

The midweek meets are more entertaining than the big tournaments on the weekends

When my son was in HS I encouraged him to wrestle...it made him a better football player the fall after he did his first wrestling season he wiped the field with those other kids who thought power lifting would give them an edge

Football players who were great wrestlers

Lorenzo Neal
Enricht Rhett
Ray Lewis (3x FL state champion 186 lbs)

Good stuff today. No big surprises. There will be some top notch matches in the morning.

And, kiwi, I may know you if you were at the Bulldog Brawl this season. That's where my son wrestles.

It is really a smaller world than you realize. I am confident that I probably helped to corrupt arseinclarse 30+ years ago along with Morbid

Yes. But specifically I know a lot of the coaches at Fountainbleau. Wooley is an excellent wrestling coach. He knows how to develop and he has great patience

I was at the meet in Gonzales, very impressive city. I posted about it but no wrestling fans responding, only non-heterosexuals.

Wooley is awesome. Fontainebleau has had a good line of coaches from Zimmer to Ballantyne Jr and now to Wooley. Kiwi, are you coming to the parish championships at Fontainebleau?

Why did they live the state championships out of southern LA? Why wouldn’t they do it in Lafayette or BR?

Good question. It would make much more sense in s La, since yall have 10 times the number of wrestlers. Obviously, has something to do with money. This would obviously bring in the most money for a specific locale because it makes 90% of the attendees drive, get a motel, etc.

When I grew up in Covington it was super convenient for us to drive to Nola. I get not wanting it in an extreme south east location, but Shreveport is the exact opposite.

It should be in Lafayette or BR to be as central
As possible

Totally different this year, line not too long, people friendly as crap.

Really good wrestling, my team, Byrd, looking good for its size.

I wrestled for FHS from 02-05. I was pretty upset when they moved state to Shreveport. It definitely should be in BR if it’s not in NOLA
