Louisiana schools are awful and LHSAA doesn't help.

Like I said, you clearly don't have a kid in band or aren't involved in band in any way. Have a good evening.

As a parent of an athlete… I look at the band, dancers and cheerleaders as part of the program. They deserve the time to perform.. as their work and talents bring so much more than halftime performances …. Plus.. u get additional fan attendance which only enhances the game experience.

Schools that lose on the fields REALLY seem to like their bands and dance teams
At those competitions it seems like everyone really does get a trophy

You want to give the football players attention during a band competition? It’s called a football game for a reason. Your kid will have plenty of time for attention from both of his moms at the band competition.
