I'm sorry, but I'm one of those guys that thinks athletes today are superior....I appreciate the greatness of the '92 guys, but I think they would really struggle to guard this new group. Magic couldn't cover his shadow back then....I'll take the 2012 team all day, Kobe speaks the truth!

I'm 32 and watched every game and wore the t-shirt, but thanks for trying

I also think Babe Ruth wouldn't hit 10 HR in a AA baseball season today! Yeah, I'm one of those guys!

Why is it considered sacrileg to suggest that the dream team is fallible?

Exactly, people act like you insulted their papaw who was WW2 Vet....the rest of the world was garbage back then, thus making them look more god-like...if you just look at the difference in athleticism and the '12 squads superior defensive ability, a rational person could see where the '92 team could have some problems

I don't understand you people who are so infatuated with this group of guys in 2012. I really wish a guys like Charles Oakley were in the game today...Bron wouldn't be driving at the end of the game with Oakley in the lane...

The centers on the dream team are so much better than anyone in the world today it's not even funny. Add in the dream team had the best player in the world and it's game over

Magic at that age couldn't guard Paul, Williams, or Westbrook. LBJ would have his with Pippen and Dirant would have a mismatch but I still think dream team is slightly better.

If they played ten games with the original dream team's rules, this team would probably win 3 games or so. Played with today's rules, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if they won 5 or 6 out of 10. It is basketball, and the notion that the Dream team was/is unbeatable is ridiculous. Hell, they lost to the college team in their first practice....yeah they came back the next day and destroyed them, but the point is you have off days in basketball. The best team in the league loses to the worst team sometimes. Not to mention this dream team is pretty F'n stacked.

In barca the other team was asking for autographs after the game

Stockton would guard the 1. Magic would take the 2. Scottie on LBJ, and btw Pippen is one of the greatest defenders of all time, MJ on Durant and Robinson/Ewing would work the 2012 bigs. Bird, Drexler, Barkley off the bench.... please.

And THIS team will NOT win every game by 44 points either. I understand what you are saying. but THIS so-called dream team is nothing but a nightmare compared to "92.

my thought as well.

in every other mainstream american sport athletes have made large strides physically.

i dont see how anyone would think basketball has regressed while all other sports continue to advance.

The '92 team would stop the 2012 team more times. Plain and simple. And the '92 team would score at will. That's the difference.

If 12 team has Howard, then its a lot more interesting.

The 92 team can't guard any of the pgs and there is no answer for Durant/LBJ forward combo.

12 team's biggest weakness is old Kobe on prime Jordan. Kobe fights, but he gets murdered.

These would be high scoring affairs, but never ever bet against Jordan
