The convenient teammates excuse, but if someone points out Lebron doesn't have as many rings because of his less than stellar CLE supporting cast, that same side doesn't buy the teammate excuse. Kobe and MJ and lots of other greats would have been doing lots of sucking off too, right?
Bron drives the lane recklessly going to just knock his opponent out of the way. He had two very stupid turnovers in the last minute (ish)
Bron will take many more shots to win games in his career........when he and Kobe are done then we can compare stats over a career.
Bron doesn't carry himself like this.

Stats don't always tell the whole story.
I don't at all think that players can "rise to the occasion" in terms of they can will this or that jump shot to go in. They're good players, they make "clutch" shots because good players make shots at all points of the game, including the end. They don't make them because of some magical ability to summon some powers that they can summon in the 2nd quarter of a game.
That being said, I do think it can go the other way. Not based on nerves or not being clutch, but I do think players can try too hard to be the guy who takes the last shot and they end up not making correct bsaketball decisions. Kobe does this. Lots of times he's good enough to overcome that and he makes the shots. Lots of times he doesn't.
And I'd venture to say all the stats posted already and other stuff posted in the past at least fall in line with everything I said above, though it doesn't obviously prove it because those things can't literally be proved.

Michael Jordan, everyone says he was the most clutch player ever, blah blah blah. For the 1st 47 minutes of a game, who was the best player to ever play basketball? Michael Jordan.
So, it kinda goes without saying that he's also going to be the best player who makes the shots in the final minute. People have it backwards. They say he's the GOAT because he makes those big shots. I say ha makes those big shots because he's the GOAT.

Jordan "never carried himself like this":
In other words, your post made absolutely no sense.

Because he has many games like these. And this is him at 34.
