Jordan was a huge dick to most of his teammates.

The reporter that said Tyson Chandler was the best offensive player in the low post should be fired.

in the media?

idgaf about practice. you're grown men and competitors. but blasting teammates to the media is where the line gets crossed.

I would say Kobe could learn humility from the young guys but who on this team is actually humble?

this is correct

btw, theres a time and place to create rivalries and trash talk... While on the same US team, trying to win a gold medal with the same guys you're bashing isnt one of those times. IMO

i get your beef with that mindset, but that mindset has nothing to do with what Kobe said. Tyson Chandler is his teammate. In this setting, and in the context of the question he was asked, Kobe should have defended Chandler, or at the very least, not blasted his (lack of) a post game.

This..

He's not in a "rivalry" with any of them right now, they're teammates, and you just trashed the shite out of all of them.

I mean maybe, but those other 3 guys have never been even close to successful at the highest level. They don't lead the league in scoring or they aren't dominant players honestly. I was more saying CP3, LBJ, Melo. I guess Durant would be the closest to a current GREAT player who is humble

Im sure they all have massive egos. The 11 other guys on the team have all managed to keep their mouths shut and just play though.

Those guys have had plenty of chances to throw Kobe under the bus with the way he's been playing. He'd been absolutely horrible with this team until the 4th quarter yesterday. But all of his teammates kept their mouths shut, supported him, and then went bonkers for him when he pulled out of his slump.

If anybody should be bitching, it should be Iguodala, who's had to sit behind Kobe on the bench and watch him play like trash.

Kobe

He's going to get title number 6 next year to put him along side MJ.

Kobe could win the next three titles and still wouldn't be close to MJ

if kobe gets 6, the Kobe/MJ "debate" will be an excellent litmus test on who really knows basketball

Pleeeeeeease... I won't even dignify a response.

Now about Kobe's comments, I like him not bowing to those other players. He's still top 5 in the world. That was a clown question by the reporter.

Lol @ anyone justifying this. Absolutely no reason to say any of that, and it makes him seem like he has Napoleon complex.
