I'd take that over any team in the league for the next 2 years

why when there is a possibility of Nash, Koke, Metta, Pau, and Dwight Howard?

up until now, Bynum hasn't had a great distributer on his team.

I will give you this. BUT he is NOT a leader and is still a big baby at times. For a player that should be really good he is still too immature to be a team leader.

That 04 team likely would have won that year if Malone doesn't get hurt.

And I think these pieces fit together better than the 04 team

Dirk provides better spacing than Karl, Nash is a better distributor than GP, and Pau doesn't need the ball like Sahaq needed the ball

i can't argue that.

but with Mike Brown, the ultimate pushover, as his coach.
and Kobe/Metta occasionally bashing Brown too.

he hasn't really had a role model.

I agree I'd prefer Howard, but let's say he gets traded to BK tonight, then would you do this?

i don't like Dirk. plus he's old.
Marion is old and fading quickly.

they might win games, but i just don't like Dirk.

I have never really liked him but he has been MONEY for Dallas for a long time now and has a shot that is almost impossible to stop. There aren't many players you can say this about. I do feel bad for him in a way though. He has given his ALL for The Mavs and finally got them a title and then he gets shite on by all the players leaving him. But where could he go to get another title before he is done????

Well I like the move to get Kidd a hell of a lot more than the shite they were talking about trading Shumpert to get Nash. Honestly, I hope they can retain Lin.

Baby steps...

They would struggle defensively and be soft in the middle.

I don't think it would have mattered if Malone was healthy or not. The Lakers got outplayed AND outcoached in '04. I PICKED the Pistons in 5!!!!!!!!! BEN WALLACE said frick YOU Shaq!!!!!!!!!!!FACT.
