I don't think he is. Talent wise, I wouldn't give either an edge over the other but I have said on this board that Harden was a top 10 talent before he was traded to Houston...back when people thought it was laughable that he would be a max player on day. Back in the spring of 2012 the majority of folks on this board felt that way.

Fit is overrated. You can make things fit.
You take the transcendent player in the nba almost every time.
Durant is substantially better than Harden.

Fit is not overrated. For example, would you rather have Chris Paul and James Harden? Or Dwight Howard and James Harden/Chris Paul.
Both of those players are probably better than Howard, but I would rather have Howard and one of them than both of them.
