When Georgia was batting, they would play the interlude of Ke$ha singing "I hear your heartbeat to the beat of the drums" between pitches, after which the fans would go clap clap.
Cringe is absolutely the proper description. As as normal, the idiot marketing/promotions people who make decisions overplayed the shite out of it. Once an inning would have been more than enough. Sometimes they did it 3 times per AB, which was awful

I have said it a million times. My disdain for college marketing and promotions team is extreme. It is often a bunch of 25 year old interns who are dumb as a box of rocks. Many of them just don't get it. And when they find something that might be cool, they absolutely beat it into the ground because they are incapable of original ideas.
