I mean what else does Nebraska have? Nebraska men's and women's basketball teams are non-factors. Nebraska baseball used to be good but really hasn't been good in a long time now. Nebraska football is all but dead. And you're in Nebraska with very little to do.
Volleyball is the one sport Nebraska has, so it's not surprising their fans go all in.
