I won't call him a bitch, but it does make me root for the stars who play in the bowls that much more.

Ok? I just don’t let the decisions of people idk and that will never affect me bother me emotionally or upset me. Or try to psychoanalyze these athletes over one life decision and pretend that like that one decision means you know exactly what kind of person they are based off it. It’s really weird how emotionally invested y’all get with some of these athletes.

He Graduated College which is the ultimate goal of a student athlete. We won the ACC and did his deed for King and country.

I don't like his sitting out and he should not have travelled with the team. If you are going to quit then do the damn thin right and leave.

How do you know he worked his arse off for it? There’s a list of players a mile long that got by just on their talent alone in college football

No, but I think I heard he’s got unusually small hands for his size. And he’s not mobile at all. If you don’t have all the tangibles, you better have a good bit of the intangibles to overcome them. All it takes it one team to fall in love with him, so he may still go high—hell, he may even go #1—but I bet his decision to not play moved him down some teams’ boards. It would mine.

If you want to fix this...expand the CFP to 16. It’s the only way.

GFY, for 100 years it hasn't even been a "decision". You played because that is what you are there to do, you played for the teammates you've bled with for the last 3-4 years, for the coaches who invested countless hours into getting you to the point you're at, you played because you loved to play.

It's only a decision now because we are coming a country of selfish bitches and quitting on your team/teammates is a shining of example of it.

Agree 100%..You would see opt outs and transfers be greatly reduced if the program they were at had a skin in the CFP.

All the more reason to have them declare BEFORE bowl bids are handed out.

Of course, that would likely lead to schools starting to sue opt-outs for lost revenue.

It's just a mess all the way around.
