1860 loans Kenny Cooper to Plymouth Argyle for remainder of 2010 season.
Greatest Soccer Player Ever
Gotta respect the guy for wanting to step up competition to get a crack at the US team.

I laugh at the irony of this, but Germans

Good move for Plymouth as they are going to be in a fight to avoid relegation. Their current top striker is Rory Fallon of New Zealand, but he only has three goals. Their leading scorers are midfielders/winger types. They have also scored the fewest goals as a team in the Championship this season.

Plymouth Argyle? From the other thread I thought it was Plymouth. Well that sucks.

Does Coop really want to be the guy who's known for "Daddy" getting involved when things don't go well?

Were you thinking of Portsmouth, in the Premiership?

He can't help that his dad has a good eye for talent.

Kenny Cooper is the Adam James of US Soccer. I must reiterate this. Average player with a pushy dad. Charlie Davies in his current state is a better player than FrankenCooper.

Damn my attempts to inflame the pathos of the Cooper contingent have failed miserably.

Da Coop >>>> Conor Casey. If having Da Coop on the USMNT means keeping Casey out, then I'm all for it

Personally I didn't know WTF Adam James was. Not that I'm part of the Cooper contingent.
Davies/Altidore/Dempsey. Dont even bring any other strikers.

One guy who's coming back from serious injury (and will only have a max of like 1 month to get in game shap), another player who hasn't and probably won't sniff the field much, and another player coming back from injury who isn't a natural forward?
I like them, but there's no way you can just bring those 3 at forward. Gotta bring 1-2 more.

You need a fourth striker because Dempsey can be listed as a mid. I'd take Cooper if he regains his prolific scoring in the ColaShip. Him or Freddy Adu if he can score for Aris or Brian Ching for his passing and holding skills.

Y'all are right, but I'll be more than shocked if Bradley plays Adu, and I know if Ching/Casey are there then he's going to play them. Ching I can understand, but I can't stand to watch Casey.
