Chances are they use at least one max slot for a non-max-slot player hahaha

They’re giving Marc Gasol a max deal no doubt

You look at how crazy people in New York went when Jeremy Lin had a couple of big weeks. Or how people bitched about Eddy Curry not making the All Star team when he had one good half season. New York is a basketball city and they are hungry for a winner.
I tell you, if I were KD, I would go. You would become the biggest athlete in the city right off the bat. You play for the Knicks and they win, you could run New York. You play for the Knicks and they lose, you let people know it ain't your fault because they're a dicked up franchise.

Probably not weight, but more of the city is together with the Knicks

It’s probably 70/30 Yankees Mets for baseball

Didn’t Curry have a good half season years ago and Knick fans were screaming how he had to make the All Star team? Like it would be unforgivable for him to get snubbed? I seem to recall that

I don’t remember that at all. Where was this? On the Internet too?

I remember Linsanity.

So what happens with Russell assuming Kyrie goes to the Nets?

He’s a Restricted FA.

But I think they’ll keep him.
Kinda like a Lillard Mcollum backcourt

Pretty sure they won't be able to if they want Kyrie and a KD/AD.

I was under the assumption they’d just get Kyrie.

I still think KD stays with the Warriors

No clue on AD
