He ain't lying. That sky hook was lethal from 18 feet out. It was in reality a glorified deadly jumper disguised as a hook. No one was blocking that stuff and he would bring it all night, from distance.

The Lakers were very much a fast-break team under Magic, but when they got in the playoff and things slowed down their half-court offense was incredible. Kareem's hook was a huge part of that.
