When you have a mental illness such as deep depression, which is what this guy was probably dealing with, then it doesn't matter what your upbringing was like.

Heres where my problem lies with this statement, you dont have a fricking clue about what type of people his parents are. You are talking out of your arse. Im sory if i cant manufacture fake sympathy for a fricking family i dont know the first thing about

You're still misrepresenting what others have said.

But it doesn't matter, because you are a sad excuse for a human being.

Like it or not, suicide and especially cases like this are not simple issues. There is usually a lot going on that some a-hole sitting behind a computer has no clue about.

You know what I do know? They just went through a terrible Tragedy that turned their life upside down. And I do know i would not wish that on anyone. You dont have to know inticate details about a family to feel sympathy.

I'm not talking about the suicide. I'm talking about the murder.

But you stated that you would feel sorry for the family if it was just a suicide, but because he murdered someone, you have no sympathy.

Your basis for this thought was because you blame the person's upbringing. If that's the case, wouldn't someone that committed suicide have the same shitty upbringing as a murderer?

Came from the same person with the same issues. You cant separate the two to make you look like less of a shitty person and to fit your shitty argument

You have every right to feel how you do . Im just wondering why you need to try and control how everybody else should feel about it

Not everyone feels the same sympathy as you, why must you try and belittle those that dont?

No one is trying to control what people think here. If someone post something stupid with beyond flawed logic, they will be called out on that.

There is a little girl who will grow up without parents.

As somebody who has grown up without a mother, yes, I feel sympathy for the child. And yes I feel sympathy for the parents because I have seen my grandparents and what they went through.

Somebody's child/parents died today. I feel sorry for them and my thoughts and prayers are with them.

I do feel for the child for sure. Nobody has said anything different.

Also everyone agrees that this is a tragic situation

The only disagreement is on the parents of belcher and belcher himself

I can see how somwone cant find the sympathy for.them

How is this so hard for some of you

Fair enough. That's true. I'm sure Belcher had some serious underlying problems that we don't (and may never) know about. It doesn't excuse his actions, though. I think we can both agree on that. Where we obviously disagree, is whether or not his family deserves our sympathy. I think not.

But I'm capable of disagreeing with someone without calling them an idiot, a retard, or a sad excuse for a human being. We simply have a difference of opinion.
