I consider myself, at least relative to this group, a Weeknd fan. That whole thing was a dud. And I think it mostly has to do with the sound mixing. I felt like I was in a bathroom ina tunnel of the stadium. You couldn’t actually hear the lyrics.

Oh, here we go with the one hit wonders popular song
Makes sense you would think a Frank Sinatra or Willie Nelson half time show would be enjoyable

It’s like Bruno Mars is their saving grace, dude hasn’t made a song in years

Mixing can really make or break a performance. It did get noticeably better towards the end.

I thought it was a good performance. Not really a fan of his music, but it's clear he's talented.

Every song he sang tonight was likely #1 at some point in the charts. Are you unfamiliar with how big The Weeknd has been for awhile now?
Don’t care. The popularity of someone that this generation idolizes means next to nothing in the grand scheme.

For sure. This guy is Uber replaceable. Gives, shows, nothing. Generic. Vanilla (is that racist?). A plug for a hole.

One of the things I like about the weekend is how much he was guided by Michael Jackson. The dude considers MJ a huge inspiration and you can see it in his performances and music.

Russell Wilson is a gay dolphin who transitioned to a human.

What’s your point? Him being a one hit wonder was the comment being discussed. Whether or not you like his music or think his popularity means anything is irrelevant in that context. Someone calling him a one hit wonder is objectively dumb
