They haven't been nearly as dominant when that talent dipped a bit as NIL started.

lol. NIL started in 2020 and they went 42-2 in 2021-2023. They “slipped” to 11-3 in 2024 with a ton of injuries on the offense and Beck regressing. They are 12-1 this year.

So in the 5 full seasons since NIL came about they’ve won 2 National titles and 3 SECCG while going 65-6 in those seasons thus far. A 91.5% winning percentage over 5 seasons is as good as it gets unless you are playing NCAA 26.

He's the best coach in the game. Period. He has no peers, aside from Day.

Day isn’t remotely as good as Smart. Hell Day isn’t even as good as Dabo and Dabo is a tier 3 coach at this point.

Day is VERY lucky the CFP expanded last year. Otherwise he's probably out of a job.

They were given a gift by having to play the #1 seed in the playoff?

They’ll beat Indiana and get rocked in the final 4. They were given a gift with their playoff bracket.

They were gifted a second round game with the #1 overall seed?

OU dominated that game last night

Did you turn it off after the 1st quarter ended or something?

If Bama can get by Indiana, I don't see Oregon or Texas Tech beating them.

Disagree.

I think Ryan Day was born on third base and would have been fired last year if not for the expanded playoff. He is seriously overrated.

Yep. His seat was scorching after those Michigan losses.
