In this case it would be head to head for the 3 teams going in as both would also be conference champions with the same record. this is very different.

I do agree that is different, but measuring H2H using transitive results spread out between week 0 and championship week is borderline retarded.

personally, i think it's gonna end up
1 Michigan
2 Washington
3 Texas
4 Alabama
b/c i don't see Fla St beating Louisville tonight... Bama is the only one of the 1 loss teams with a rightful claim of conference champion...

eta: if Bama wins the SECCG, which it's looking like they have a pretty good shot at right now

This exact scenario was why the 4 team only system (with 5 power conferences) was dumb and I say that as an OSU fan who has benefited from it .

They're going to show what a fraud the system is by flip-flopping the last week and basically declaring the season as window dressing.

They'll put in Bama over Texas because of ESPN and Sankey and hang their hat on Missouri and fricking' frickin' Tennessee and their basically, FCS schedule. This is why fricking' Tennessee and their ZERO quality wins or even half a decent wins (Jimbo fired TAMU?) is still ranked...to support their Star Chamber about-face with pumping up Bama's schedule.

Seriously doubt it.

Umm say what? Did I not just see Texas WIN a conference championship as a 1 loss team?

What a joke it will be next year.

Ohio State has six of first seven games at home against three non- power five teams, Akron, western Michigan, and Marshall. Nebraska and Iowa at home. They travel to Oregon.

Then Penn state on the road, that’s it until Michigan at home. Three games worthwhile.

Regular season means nothing.

not that it matters now, but in my prediction, Texas was already in, being they beat Bama head to head... i was saying if FSU lost, then the remaining 1 loss teams (Ohio St, Georgia and Alabama), Bama had the best chance of getting in
