As expected the NCAA has folded. College baseball is about to be wild.

If this holds, it could screw over the kids that started college in 2024. They may have signed with a school based on roster needs with an upperclassman leaving. Freshman year, Burn a redshirt, or a year of eligibility only to have the NCAA tell them that these super duper seniors with redshirts and Covid years get to come back again? NCAA literally moving the goal posts on the freshman class of 2024 athletes. They need to stop changing the damn rules every fricking year because feelings (and greed). The governing body has created a disaster that is making the dream for thousands of athletes a convoluted mess.

High school baseball recruits are absolutely fricked
NCAA sports has literally become better for 0.5% of people and worse for 99.5%
But truthfully that feels like how society is as a whole. Fight like hell for the fringe minority at the cost of the super majority
