If you told somebody in 1988 that a guy was the head basketball coach at Memphis, Ga Tech, and UNLV they'd think he had to be a no doubt hall of famer.

He was 167-73 (82-36) at Memphis with 4 NCAAT trips in 6 seasons.
Wasn't good at GT but that is also a program with a single NCAAT win in the last 20 years.
