truth. You gotta go with a "frick it" mentality. I could have kept Vereen in the 7th round but passed instead to keep Gordon. If Gordon is banned the entire year, oh well. frick it

what are your keeper rules? are you able to keep Gordon for this year and then keep him again next year?
if so that's an easy decison

yep, for a 7th round pick.

If he's gone a full year, though, I think he becomes Blackmon. He'll go off the deep end, get into more trouble and may never play in the NFL again.

Which would be a shame because he's an absolute stud. Top tier talent.

blackmon could be also, sometimes the drug is stronger than the motivation to be someone special

Aside from the fact that most want him to play because of fantasy, the NFL could do him right by giving him a mandated rehab stint as his "suspension"

Send him away for a month or so. If he fricks up again, ban him from the league.

I was never a real believer in Blackmon. Gordon is impressive, though.

This has been the case for at least a week. Florio had an article about it on PFT saying that the decision was made, but the NFL was taking their time with writing the statement in a legally precise manner.

Going with 8 games. He'll be out of shape and take 2-3 weeks to get in game shape. Will be fantasy irrelevant this year.
