b. We think violence is worse than anything...worse than substance "abuse" or racially insensitive language...therefore I have a really low opinion of the NFL and NBA right now.

i have not once said ray rice didnt deserve more. I believe he should have. But the gordon deal is comming from the multiple offense. That goes along with how the suspensions go. Ray rice was first offense, and i dont agree with it but that was penalty.

I kind of am. The NFL shouldnt be testing and punishing its employees for recreational drugs.

Well, I agree with this too, but that's more of an America thing rather than a Franchise thing.

thats a bit too far one sided. there are many, many jobs that do this. a guy doesnt HAVE to play in the NFL if they dont like their rules.

I just don't understand the hypocrisy. If the NFL wants to handle business like that, I'm cool with it. Just take the same approach across the board.

Meanwhile, Rice, Prater, Irsay all get off with a slap on the wrist.

Your confusion is because you aren't considering that the drug program was one that was collectively bargained and it's punishment is very explicitly spelled out. Repeat offenders are dealt with harshly...and for good reason.

Nobody in the NFL is making the judgement that smoking marijuana is worse than punching your wife in the face. You've just chosen to accept that they are.

Matt Prater (Denver kicker) was in stage 3 and got four games. Irsay has admitted he's battled substance abuse for years.

Interest to see your troll rebuttal for that one.

Because we don't think the punishment fits the crime. We understand that it's all in the CBA but still disagree with the harshness of the penalty. Understand?
