They offered Sonnen next weekend...Jones turned it down. Instead of offering Sonnen at 152, they offered Vitor?
Did Jones turn down ever fighting Sonnen? I understand that Sonnen is not "deserving" of a title shot at 152...but he is arguably more deserving than Vitor.
I swear the UFC seems more like professional wrestling every day.

Cause that's the beautiful thing about mma.....you root for who you like, not who you're obligated to like (as in other sports).
Probably 3-4 of my 5 favorite (current) fighters are all Brazilian......but they're also some of the very best in the world as well. I'm bandwagon as frick

Vitor is a beast......I don't see how anyone can dislike that guy. So you'd root for JJ if he fought Machida again? All cause of the piece of land he landed on once spit out of his mom's vagina?

yes...frick Machida. JJ is my favorite fighter and it isn't remotely close. I love the fact that many MMA fanboys have been predicting him to lose to more established guys for awhile now. It's almost like some of them take it personally that he's just rolling through the competition they have always respected so much. He's by far the most entertaining fighter in the sport, he's a different level athlete than UFC has ever seen, and he's American.

That's what I'm thinking. Daniel Cormier had a couple of these run ins and is deathly afraid. Rumble's days don't look good.
