not a Duke fan by any means but good to see that low rent wop with no class lose his shite on the sidelines in a loss.

Mmmmm bitterness

Don't think any big time team is sweating Kentucky too much. Their past 3 teams all had better talent and makeup. Defense was weak tonight and they aren't strong on the boards despite having a long, athletic front line.

I hate that smug bastard so much.

No real feelings about the UK team though I think Noel is super overrated. I like Poythress, but he has to realize that shouting for 5 seconds after a dunk doesn't get you any more points.

Seth really impressed me with his play. He looked like Nolan at times, which is not something we've seen from him in the past. Looks like he might want to play in the NBA after all.

And Sonia is such a fox

This is by far his worst team but they are better than I expected. I was ready to say they would drop out of the top 25 at times this year, but they showed more than I would have expected.

Don't think harrow will bring a lot more to the team, but Goodwin is buying in to team play much more than I expected. Not that he is a great passer, but he's showing an effort at getting others invovled from time to time.

ETA: had them as a 5-6 seed before tonight. Now I can see a 4 like in 2010-11

Please Belle, throw some facts at me. You won the dance last year because you had the #1 and 2 draft picks.. Not because Calipari is some wonderful coach who will improve his freshman drastically. what you see is what you get from UK. Cal is a salesman, not a coach.

Elite Eight, Final Four, and a National Championship in his first three seasons at UK with similar youth?

Meh. If you think it doesn't take coaching to teach guys that are damn near devoid of solid defense in AAU ball to play lockdown defense in less then a season then you know less about basketball then I thought. Or to get those guys to put the ego aside and play like a team.

But it's whatever tickles your pickle. I like my team after tonight. Do you like yours?

Basketball has me all fiery. Joker just doesn't do that for me on the other side. I'm too busy pining for Andre Woodson, Wesley Woodyard, Jacob Tamme, Stevie Johnson, and etc to get that fired up about football this season.

I actually think he is underrated as a coach. That Wall/Cousins team sucked at first. Almost lost to Miami-Ohio in the opener. And they made the Elite 8. The Knight/Liggins team also made big improvements by the end of the year.

Of course, there are two things to consider. A) This year's team does not have Wall or Cousins or Bledsoe.

B) In-game, he can have huge brain farts. He did not adjust strategies at all against Huggins in 2010, and i am forever thankful for that because they would have beaten our 2010 team without a doubt.

The Championship game he coached with Memphis vs Kansas is the worst coaching I've ever seen at any level.

That makes sense. Good coaches get good players. If you can't get good players, you can't win. Ask Tubby after his 5th year. You can hate on him, and call him a cheater, but to say he isn't a good coach is not smart.

11 1st rounders in 3 years to go along with all of Belle's stats. HE MADE JOSH HARRELSON A frickING DRAFTED PLAYER!!!!!

X's and O's. Where do you rank him? Its not that fricking hard. Do you think he's the best X's and O's guy in the SEC? Top 5 in the nation? Best in the nation? Come on...

In his defense vs. West Virginia with that group we didn't have that shooter we had with Lamb last season. Meeks was supposed to fill that role but couldn't convince him to suit up under his third coach in almost as many seasons. I truly believe had we had that we would've made a NC run. As talented as that team was it was incomplete IMO.

But I can agree with that assessment. I know you hate him but appreciate the fair assessment.
