Sorry, it's just a pet peeve of mine. Many sexual abuse victims have gone on to great things. Including Mike Tyson, who may have been "irreparably harmed" for our boxing enjoyment.

I was referred by a friend of mine at the National Sexual Assault Resource Center.

I got blasted earlier and still will in this thread because of the lack of emotion I showed, just how were trained I think when dealing with kids that are at risk behavioral issues or abused.
But was wanting to ask if lsu2006 understood some stuff about what to look for and what he would think be the most serious.

Worst part of being mandated reporter is knowing DHS/DSS doesn't take all reports seriously and some investigators do poor jobs.

You can not get to emotionally involved in an abuse case as you will do more harm than good. You identify the issue treat the issue and assist all you can.
In my earlier statements all I was trying to say is he did what was legally required. In hindsight he said he wished he did more. You cannot make an allegation based on 2nd hand knowledge. It won't even be looked at, that is reality. McQueary should have reported it but didn't. Paterno according to Freeh and the report I posted earlier did report it to a legal entity and his superior.
You have every right to question morality, but people are confusing the two.
What would I do if someone did that to my son? I'd kill them, but that's emotion playing. The failure wasn't just one person as people are trying to paint it.

No dude shite ain't real until you have a 10 year old pooing his pants daily and scared to death of any male teacher calling his name or coming up to him
Had a kid this year have that happen and he was a straight A student to F student in 6 weeks
The 2nd case was a 7 yr old girl who refused to take a bath at home because she was embarrassed her legs were bruised and she also wanted to never go home

Reported both of them DHS said unfounded allegations
Then reported a 5th time finally got a relative to take kids and the kid admitted what was going on with the boy.
The little girl was taken to foster care we got that done by electricity was cut off and that's child abuse by definition

I always think of McQueary with this. I try to think back to what 28 year old me would have done? At 28 I did not have a son. But I had a ton of cousins and friends with kids. Was also dating the woman who I would marry. All these cause me to believe that I would beat the living shite out of the guy. A beating whose nature would cause an escalation of the situation. When I would be charged with a crime, then I would be screaming that he was raping a child in front of me.
McQueary was 28. But just a GA at the school he played for. He probably never left campus and still had the mentality of a 22 year old. I don't know what 22-24 year old me would have done.
I've submitted several CPS reports over my career by email or phone. Never for sex abuse of this nature. Those were police calls.

That TPOS admitted that as a prosecutor, he had cops lie on the stand. A few people on here were outraged enough to hunt him down IRL and report him to whichever state bar, so I think he had to run from the board.
