I don't have the amount of BJJ experience Rogan does,but i boxed for 10 years, I said the same thing after watching that atrocity of a combination\dick punch, I have ZERO clue wtf he was even attempting, one thing I do know, he's never thrown punches before that day. That man has ZERO business commenting on men in the ring or octagon. Fighting is one of those things you shouldn't comment on if you haven't done it. The man basically basically blamed Conor for winning so fast. fricking tard

Stephen A has stepped into a world unlike other sports he's ever covered. He won't win this one and may even get the shite kicked out of him or booed so loudly in arenas Wspn will have to pull him permanently from their events.

That sport is very very territorial, much more so than even organized boxing, which has been around for 100+ yrs as a mainstream sport in America. Boxing also gets it from a entertainment standpoint, they know it's a game, a circus, to build up events, as do the promoters, who essentially control the sport.

MMA folks, perhaps put of insecurity or just being the relatively new kids on the block or just that it's fighters and fans are largely slightly crazy, don't take well to carnival barker outsiders.

I see both sides of the “he didn’t show me enough” argument. But SAS didn’t address the “he quit” comment and, in fact, didn’t repeat it. He changed to “he folded” which is in effect saying “he got his arse whipped. Well uhhhh yeah, nobody arguing that

It’s the difference between being an analyst and being an entertainer. Stephen A Smith is paid for his style, not his substance. Substantively, beyond the NBA where he actually watches the games, anything he says is likely to be garbage.
