I think if Paterno and the ginger are allowed to coach Saturday, every Penn State fan should refuse to enter the stadium. The ultimate f*ck you to the administration for allowing those two to remain would be to have a completely empty stadium. Penn State fans will say they'll attend to support the players. Which is all well and good, but what's better is supporting the victims by not standing for this abomination.

I think it would be one very fast way for a fanbase to do everything it can to restore its reputation. That would be a move that everyone could get behind

edit: and not that their fan base is really guilty of anything (outside of idiot college kids) but situations like this everyone burns unfortunately.

I'm not penalizing the players that have worked so hard this year.

to me it would be about standing up for the name of the university and its reputation. The school is much bigger than this one group of football players.

Not cheering for anything associated with Paterno and McQueary would be honorable at this point.

You really have no clue. The players have nothing to do with this. Regardless of what happened they are playing this Saturday. This isn't on them.

It will never happen. It's easy to armchair QB what we should do from afar but I'm telling you it'll never happen. I respect what you're trying to say though.

I'm an alumni and I'm having a hard time processing it all. My wife, my brothers-in-law, my uncle, my aunts, many of my friends and coworkers...we're all alums and we're all dealing with this our own way. It's one thing to be looking at it from the outside but to be here and having to process it after supporting these guys your entire life....there's a lot of betrayal here that makes me want him out now.

I know it will never happen. Wishful thinking

But I really do feel that each day PSU allows Paterno to keep his job (and McQueary and the pres) they dig themselves deeper into the shite of public opinion.

I know that if they allow Paterno to coach Saturday, I will forever hate PSU. They will be putting his legendary status, and his ego above decency and their own reputation, and that's despicable imo.

Why, because you will go support a man who allowed children to eb raped...so he can get a record for most games coached? WTF does that mean?

He steps down, by all means you should go. But to support this...it's shameful.

whatever helps you sleep at night cult-boy. My philly cred is just fine back home.

Enjoy cheering for a group of men that allowed a pedophile to rape boys for over a decade. I know you'll be taking pictures with the JoePa statue too.

Joe Pa wants all the acolades but none of the responsibility. He knew the guy was pedo and could have stopped it. The guy kept coming around with kids for Gods sake..
Joe pa still wants to go out on his own terms.. B.S.

If you're being serious, then that's fine...but you have a tendency to troll, especially on the OT.

If you're trolling, then give it a rest.

If you're serious, then you might want to rethink your stance. It was NOT the ENTIRE PSU program that was letting this go.
