This case would be thrown out in any court across America, not just the one in Oklahoma. She assaulted him and he assaulted her.... BUT she did initiate physical contact and he has the right to defend himself.
Obviously he took it to the extreme but she, technically is more at fault than he according to the law.
You have to take emotion out and just look at facts

throwing this out there: i understand she 'pushed' him and 'hit' him but the fact that he followed her into the restaurant stands out to me. also that no one seemed shocked by the action, just watched him walk out.

That's really exactly the issue. If you look at it each case individually like a trial is supposed to do, he's fricked because what he did was over the top. But if you apply ballscasters mysoginistic world view to each case without regard to the individual facts of a case, Mixon gave her what she deserved.
