Jimmer will be just as good or better than JJ Redick in the NBA IMO.
Not saying much. JJ Redick cant dribble without getting the ball taken from him

Fredette is getting all the doubt a white player usually gets coming out of college. Its always that they are too slow, small, bad defenders, etc etc.
Its virtually the same shite said about Hansbrough last year. I watched him the other night and this guy is tearing it up. I believe that facts will show that there are just as many busts by percentage amoung black and white players.

JJ Redick is averaging 10ppg for a NBA contender. I am convinced that Jimmer can do that and then some in the NBA. He will work to improve his defense and quickness.

i think he can average 10 points too
i think he could prob go as high as 15, but his FG% will prob be below 40% if that happens, and he'll be on a shitty team
and its much easier for white post players to make it than white guards. Hansbrough is a good athlete, despite what people think

OK Lester, I have a question for you.
What does Stephon Curry have that Jimmer doesn't?
I think they are VERY similar Jimmer being a little stronger, and Curry being a better defender. Other than that they are both great shooters who can also take it to the rim and score.

better Quickness
much better ball handling
better passing ability
the biggest thing is he has another gear that Jimmer simply doesnt have.

No doubt...he's a better athlete than Love to be honest, he's just not as good of a basketball player.
The NBA is so much different than it was 10-15 years ago. The last couple of years, people have ripped on guys like Glen Davis, Brandon Bass, Love, and Hansborough because they think that every PF should be 6'10 with the ability to jump out of the gym. Good, skilled big men have a place in the league.
Jimmer is a different story because he's a guard, but I believe that he has the makings of a solid pro who could eventually start for a team.

the only things similar about them is they both can shoot and both are bad defensively

I don't like the Curry comparison. I think that Mike Bibby is his peak, though he could develope into a better passer IMO.
That's not a bad thing.

Very good comparison IMO.
Bibby had some very solid seasons for the Kings. He has consistantly averaged between 15-20 ppg and 5-7 apg.

I don't know if he'll ever be as good as Bibby, but if he reaches his full potential that's the type of player I could see him becoming.

IMO Bibby has always been a pussy. Fredette is much tougher. I see his high side as a Mark Price type.

mark price was steve nash before there was steve nash. no way he will be that good. Price was a multiple time NBA all star.

they are different type of players too.

Im very familier with Price.
quote:
A point guard, he mystified critics who said he was too slow, too small and too deliberate for a high-level game. Selected first in the second round (25th overall) by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1986 NBA Draft, he was acquired by the Cleveland Cavaliers in a draft day trade that helped turn the team into an Eastern Conference power.
quote:
Another one of Price's distinguishing traits on the court was his pioneering of the splitting of the double team. As former teammate Steve Kerr explains, “Mark really revolutionized the way that people attack the screen and roll. To me, he was the first guy in the NBA who really split the screen and roll. A lot of teams started blitzing the pick and roll and jumping two guys at it to take the ball out of the hands of the point guard. He’d duck right between them and shoot that little runner in the lane.

yeah...i stand corrected. that is a pretty good comparison.
a price/bibby combo
a price/bibby combo

psycho t had height worries, which were alleviated at the combine, and, to me, the offensive worry was a mechanical post game and ugly shots. if you have to rely on ugly shots, and aren't fluid in the post, then the odds of you developing a post game are low
he's worked on it, and done well

Jimmer will NEVER average 8-10 assists per game.
he will never have the ball handling skills of price either
and he isnt 5'11" 160
