The system isn’t sustainable. Right now you have unlimited transfers but also at the same time, if a school takes a transfer they MUST honor that scholarship.

So let’s say Louisiana Tech takes a safety from Arkansas and a lineman from LSU. The safety from Arkansas is garbage, a locker room cancer and can’t see the field. Louisiana Tech is stuck with that scholarship. At the same time the LSU player comes in and is all-conference. He immediately transfers out.

The system is insanely broken right now.

Will the NFL start to press for NIL regulation in college football if it starts to affect them?

All it will do is keep those 3rd to undrafted players in college for another 1-2 years. They will still eventually declare

NIL is great and I am glad the players are getting some benefits from it...it still rubs me the wrong way how much money is being made by the schools, conferences and TV networks and none of that money is going directly to the players.

And I have no issue with the transfer portal either. If coaches can move as much as they want, why can't the players do it?

I don't see coaches changing schools multiple times in a 4 year span.

Have you seen a coach move twice in two years?

The players at these schools are getting a solid 100k free every year in benefits.
