Bingo. His delivery looked quicker as well. It's really hard for coaches to tweak a guy's delivery when they are lefthanded because there aren't a whole mess of them and there are even fewer lefthanded guys in the QB coaching business.

Tebow will probably have some sort of late 20's Steve Young coming out at the position. He obviously want be that level of performer, but once he finds his niche and finds the right team and system, he'll be a solid performer. He should have gone somewhere else though because the Jets aren't doing anything for him.

You can't help but pull for Tebow because he is such a breath of fresh air as far as being a quality person but i'm not sure he has the talent to play in the NFL.

The talent isnt the question IMO. Hes already shown that his release can be sped up with reps/practice. See his release tonight and compare it with the Denver games last season.

I think its the mental part of being an NFL QB, with the anticipation, reading defenses, etc.. thats holding him back.

He played in a spread offense for EIGHT years, in high school and UF.

I think he can do it, but its gonna take 2-3 more years at MINIMUM for him to become fluent with a pro-style offense.

If he didn't have the talent, he wouldn't still be there. Those receivers in Denver were and still are hot garbage. Manning is in for a long arse season because Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker maybe be great athletes, but they are a far cry from Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, etc. that Manning had in Indy and that line is hot garbage. Manning is obviously the extremely superior quarterback and passer, but Tebow made a lot of plays with his feet last year that helped them win games and Manning just doesn't have that dynamic. Wouldn't surprise me to see Denver fail to win 8 games this season.

I think they go 8-8, but I think thats more because of how overrated their offensive line and their entire defense is.

Plus, they've got a rough schedule.

Manning will get rid of the ball before the rush gets to him. The only way they won't score points is if the receivers can't get open.

Lots of QBs did this, just not at UF.

Yep. I said this when the Broncos drafted him.

I think that the Chargers will take a step forward this year. Matthews seems to be ready to handle a big workload and I believe that Rivers won't be as turnover prone as he was last year. Losing Jackson hurt, but he didn't seem to give a shite last year anyways.

The Raiders are my favorite to win the division. Palmer's big arm plus those speedy receivers will be a deadly combination and if they can keep DMC healthy, they'll have a very very potent offense. They need to cut down on those penalties in the worst way though.

I see both the Chiefs and Broncos somewhere in the 6-8 win range. If BeBe learns to run routes, catch passes, and just realizes it's legal for him not to suck, then the Broncos may do a bit better, but I just don't see them back in the playoffs this season at this point.

Tebow should have been a developmental prospect all along.

He would have benefited largely by sitting a few years on the bench learning one offense for 3-4 years behind a good quarterback with no pressure on him. He unfortunately ended up on two teams with such shitty quarterback play that they had no other choice but to throw him in there.

No no no

Norv Turner WANTS him to be ready. He then promptly gets injured again with a broken collarbone.

Tebow's eternal problem is accuracy and when he gets pressured his instinct is to bail out and run which is going to get him killed

The jets should trade for MJD now,he is exactly what they need for that offense

Have you seen the Jets offensive line this preseason? MJD wouldn't be able to do crap behind that

That literally cost them the division last year.

They've got probably the dumbest team in football not named the Lions.
