Jesse Jacksons Opinion on Vick

The Rev. Jesse Jackson became the latest public figure to offer an opinion on the future of Michael Vick. Jackson said he wondered whether there had been collusion among N.F.L. owners to keep Vick out of the league. "I want to make it an issue," Jackson said Thursday in a telephone interview. "I want teams to explain why they have a quarterback who has less skills but is playing or at least is on the taxi squad, and a guy with more skills can't get into training camp."

Why does he feel he needs to make it an issue? It's none of his fricking business. If a team doesnt want him because of the baggage then its their decision

Because he is one of the most racist pieces of shite in the country always bringing up issues with other people who he considers racists.
The biggest fricking hypocrite in the world.

Exactly what team is he talking about? I can't think of too many teams where Ookie would be an upgrade.

Less skills? Maybe they run a slower 40, but as quarterbacks I don't think many have less passing skills than Vick, who has a career passer rating of 75, a career completion % of 53, hasn't seen an NFL defense in over two years, and is a convicted felon.
Maybe those are the reasons. Not because he is black Jesse Jackson you racist fricker.

This motherfricker...what he really wants is for someone to come out and say they haven't signed Vick because he's black. Since that isn't the truth and because the owners/GMs aren't stupid, no one's going to say that. Race would be a lot less of an issue in this country if Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would cease to exist.

I'd like to ask Jesse if he would defend this guy if he was white?

How and why did Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton become famous figures? What have they done except for throw up the racist flag?

I should have stopped reading here.
Guys like Jackson need racism to exist. They help fan the flames. If it wasn't around, they would need real jobs.

I do not plan to make an offer to Michael Vick because I think that, while it is unlikely that he will have serious legal trouble in the future causing him to be unavailable for work for any significant amount of time, I fear that the negative publicity he has attached to himself may be so associated with my organization that it will cause it to lose money. I sincerely hope for Mr. Vick's sake that public perception of him changes; he is one of the most talented athletes in the world, and he has the potential to be very valuable to an NFL organization. Perhaps we will revisit this situation in the future.
Hope that helps, Jesse.

I'm sorry how is that man even alive. Mind your own damn business Douche. If he knew anything about football he wouldn't be praising Vick at all. The reason teams aren't taking him is because they are all smarter then jesse jackson.
Here's to you tard

He's so racist that he has helped to free white hostages.
Granted, I think that Rev. Jackson is a blowhard on domestic issues, but to call him a racist or a piece of shite is out of line.
But let's not divert from the issue at hand: His flawed opinion of the Vick situation.
Collusion is very difficult to prove under any circumstances. Vick JUST got conditionally reinstated, and teams already have their depth charts set. Plus, they want to figure out what the quarterbacks on their rosters can or can't do before bringing Vick in.
Add to that the fact that he's been out of football for two years and was a questionable, at best, passer prior to that, and Vick has a tough hill to climb.
Collusion? No. It's going to take a while for Vick to sign, if at all. He has to know that.
