He absolutely said "maybe" after a 2 second pause. I cna live with that. Hard to pick one off that distinguished list.

kobe and shaq arent even in the equation to me.
magic, west, chamberlain, and kareem are the top ones, though magic and west are the top 2 to me

Alot of great Lakers, but Kobe, IMO, is one of the best players ever, he would have to be a top 5 Laker. West, Magic, Kareem , Kobe, just to name a few. Also, Wilt, Mikan, Baylor, lots of great Lakers but Kobe is a stud.

Yea, he definitely said maybe.
And by the time Kobe's career is over, he may very well have a solid argument for the best Laker ever.

Define "Best". Was Larry Bird better than Bill Russell? If you are judged by championships, there is a long line. If you pick the guy who would win in one on one, Kobe may be the best. It's a sucker argument. There is no and will never be a right answer.

I don't see him overtaking Kareem. They outlawed dunking because he was too dominant.

They outlawed dunking because of Wilt i'm pretty sure.
