Do you think Jay Cutler is the reason Denver lost games or that horrible defense is what cost them? Do you also think that if Denver had a Drew Brees or Tom Brady type quarterback would they have made the playoffs last year?

I dont think he is the reason. Their defense was pretty bad, plus he is still young and learning. You never know

He deserves some blame, but he is a young QB and trying to jettison him is stupid.

That "Defense" gave up 28 PPG (30th in the League) and 374 YPG (29th in the League) this past season. Cutler deserves to shoulder some of the blame but I think it's pretty clear which of the two is most at fault.

Defense. Cutler's game is only going to get better. Wheater his maturity/leadership gets better remains a question.

The D is to blame. They are very simular to the Saints in that respect.

I think the D is bad, but I think it is interesting in comparing the points scored in wins versus losses:
PPG in wins: 30.75
PPG in losses: 15.5
That is a pretty big dropoff, so I cant say it is all defense. If the D had allowed 14 as opposed to 41 against say New England (just as an example), the 7 Denver scored still doesnt get it done.

cutler will only get better. true the broncos shouldnt have tried to trade him but this is a business so he needs to stop crying like a lil bitch and focus on improving.
