Go move to africa and go on gay witch hunts if you don't like it.
You not liking hockey has nothing to with the the OP's point.
And how is he a homophobe? Simply because he doesn't think it's right for ESPN to run stories on Collins everytime he does something "gay"?
I always love when people like you, use words like you just did, to apparently call someone out because you perceive them to be closed-minded.

Dude's an nba player.. the more you cry babies talk about it, the more it will be publicized. If it gets hits, it gets talked about. That's business. Don't like it? Watch conservative sports stations... woohoo

ESPN has turned worse into a headline.

why is it an ESPN headline
because it lines up with the media's agenda of shoving gay "rights" down our throats.
I support gay marriage, but even as a supporter the media and the entertainment industry's agenda with it is so obvious and annoying to watch. the media nor ESPN gave two shits about that Navy Seal sniper that was murdered, but they bow down and worship a gay NBA player.

1. They exist bc of advertising.
2. They sell advertising based on readership/viewers.
3. They ran the story in anticipation of clicks.
4. You helped achieve their goal of clicks with this thread and link.
Congrats

This
I just checked to see what the fuss was about... it wasn't a cover story, I didn't see it on tv. It was a 3 paragraph little writeup about him showing up.
I'll hop on the bandwagon with y'all if a 30 for 30 gets made about it, but chill, it was a 3 paragraph side story

It was a headline on the homepage.....
This takes me back to that episode of seinfeld where kramer says," do you think handicap people wanna park in those spots? They wanna be considered equal like the rest of us"
granted that was a joke, why the hell is it important for espn to let us know the gay marched in a gay parade?
We get it he's gay, congratulations, millions of others are gay too, it's not a big deal. Or is it a big deal bc he's the first athlete? O wait he's not the first athlete, many others have been gay. Is it bc he's the first nba player? Great congrats on being gay, is that a news story?
If gays want to be considered equals there are other ways besides turning people like me who once never gave a crap into haters bc of all the nonsense they spew in the media.
I went from not caring about gays to disliking gays within the last few years. Why should I care if they wanna get married, it never bothered me, but bs like this doesn't just go in one ear and out the other like it used to...it annoys me it pissed me off today

It's not him being gay. It's about him being celebrity gay.
That's all ESPN cares about.
If Tebow had a float in the St. Patrick's day parade, he'd be the top story on ESPN too.
