Which proves my point that his intent wasn't to blatantly cheap shot McCoy

Are you saying that it wasnt a cheap shot

or

That it was a cheap shot, just not a blatant cheap shot?

No I wouldnt have been "cool with it"...but he didnt.

But the way he is going THAT IS a possibility. Come on now MBP, this guy is a serious injury waiting to happen. I understand the NFL is a VERY PHYSICAL game, But no reason to try and mame someone like this guy seems to be heading. Just sayin.

Harrison has always been about cheap shots

That's the thing, Harrison has had his share of cheap shots in the past and any time he injures a player on a hard hit everyone assumes he purposely tried to kill the guy. Football happens 100 miles an hour and in the NFL it's even faster. Like I said before, if he wanted to take his suspension and knock McCoy out of the game blatantly the hit would have been aimed right on the upper part of his helmet

You must not have seen the same play I saw/ He led with the crown of his helmet to the guys chin. FACT. INTENT to injure was there.

It is part of what makes him who he is and what that defense is. Its feared for a reason. I promise players come across the middle and are more focused on what might happen than catching the ball or doing their assignment. Maybe one day he will seriously hurt someone or possibly himself but people get hurt by freak plays all the time that arent dirty. Its an insanely physical sport and he plays that way.

I said from the start that it was helmet to helmet and the penalty was fair. Was it cheap? Not in my opinion. This particular circumstance is a bang bang play. Ask me about his previous hits against Massaqoui and others and I might agree with you, just not on this one.

yet, this happened:

And it happened prior to Goodell.

Was he ever suspended? and if so for what? Still haven't seen where he was called dirty. That cover suggest he doesn't play safe but their isn't anything dirty about what he was doing

I understand this point. Freak injuries are part of the game. And as a D you want the O to be intimidated BUT When you head-hunt???

Fair enought...I saw it as an attempt to put his facemask in Colt's chest and because of the speed of the game he clipped the bottom of the facemask. Could he have kept his head up through the hit and avoided it? Yes. But no one is perfect and hits like this happen in football. The penalty and fine are correct calls. And i can see points for and against the suspension

He had at least a five yard head start at Colt. he was full bore going for him. If he had NOT had the rep he has I would NOT be so vocal of what happened.

He didn't clip the bottom of the facemask. He caught McCoy square in the face with the crown of his helmet. He wasn't making an effort to wrap up either. He was going for a kill shot. Simple as that. If he breaks his neck doing that shite, I won't feel an ounce of sympathy for him.

Those are good shots, not gonna lie. But I believe his intent is to put his facemask in McCoy's chest and that it was poorly executed, which is what i stated from the start. I respect your arguments but I'll stick with mine
